The third generation diver's watch,
nicknamed “Turtle.”The “Third Diver”

A diver's watch with an affectionate shape, for which it was nicknamed “Turtle.”

The knurled bezel with grooves achieves easy turning. The crown guard is beveled for easy operation.

Both sides of the case were rounded and softly shaped. The beveled case back also had a round shape to ensure comfort against the skin.

This 150-water-resistant diver's watch was launched in 1978. The rounded, streamlined shape of the case was designed to prevent wetsuits and equipment from catching on it. Its rounded shape has earned it the nickname “Turtle” from its fans. The dial has three distinctive trapezoidal indexes and eight rounded ones, a layout that has evolved for undersea legibility. The screw-down crown at the 4 o'clock position was designed to maintain high water resistance even under severe conditions of use with a structure that can be firmly secured.
