The first three-hand men's watch made at the Kameido factory;
the watch that led to King Seiko.Cronos

The Cronos was launched in 1958 as the first three-hand men's watch made at the Daini-Seikosha Kameido factory. Thinner than conventional watches, it delivered high performance and had a smart design. The elimination of the balance screw and improvement of the balance wheel bearing resulted in a movement that was even thinner than the one used for Marvel and was highly accurate. This thin, basic design was later inherited by the King Seiko collection and the 44GS of 1967. This neat model is characterized by its delicate, thin bezel, slender hands, and long, clean, three-dimensional indexes. The typeface of the logo is also very elegant.
