Alarm and chronograph,
designed with a futuristic feel.Hybrid Diver's Watch

The design, a fusion of digital and analog, is tough, smart, and futuristic.

The LCD display was tilted so that the 12 o'clock side is higher, making it easier to read.

The analog display on the dial was also carefully designed for high legibility.

In 1982, the world's first “hybrid diver's watch” with both an alarm and chronograph was launched. Water-resistant to 150 meters and with a dual-language display, it was tough, smart, and seductively futuristic. This unique analog-digital style caught the eye of leading movie stars and graced the wrists of leading actors in the 1980s. It was used by the Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition’s wintering party from 1984 to 1986, and was used by the Japan-China-Nepal joint expedition to the summit of Mount Everest in 1988, proving itself to be a reliable companion for use under harsh conditions. The LCD display at the 12 o'clock position of the dial was tilted up at the top to make it easier to read the time.
