A luxury watch that thoroughly pursues
precise measurement and accurate reading.Grand Seiko's first chronograph

This model is highly attractive as the ultimate measuring instrument. It is designed to be fun to operate and exhilarating to wear.

The design of the dial focuses particularly on measurement and legibility. The tip of the second hand is bent down to make the markers easier to read.

The distinctive large buttons are equipped with a screw-lock mechanism. Even the comfort of pressing the buttons has been factored into the design of the watch.

Grand Seiko's first chronograph model was a Spring Drive model equipped with Caliber 9R86, launched in 2007. From the movement design stage, careful attention was paid to the comfort of pressing the buttons, and the force required to press the buttons and the size of the button heads were repeatedly examined. With the intention of making the very experience of pressing the buttons part of the design, the timing buttons were designed as buttons to be pressed only when the user wants to measure time, and thus they are equipped with a screw lock mechanism and given bold volume. To allow the wearer to accurately read the numerical values, great thought was also given to the distance between the hands and the dial ring and sub-dial marks, as well as the shape of the hands. This model, which pursues accurate measurement and accurate reading, has been well loved for many years.
