The world's first diver's watch
with dive table function and depth gauge.Scuba Master

This diver's watch with dive computer functions had a major impact on the market.

The functions of the buttons located on the sides are displayed on the bezel for easy operation.

In addition to indicating depth, the watch had a variety of functions including an alarm and a light.

In 1990, Seiko developed the world's first 200-meter water-resistant diving computer watch containing information based on the U.S. Navy's no-decompression dive table (a table for reading the relationship between water depth, time, and impact on the body). The watch’s sensor functions were able to grasp a great amount of information necessary for diving work in real time. In addition to measuring dive time, the watch was packed with many functions, including measuring surface rest time and calculating and displaying no-decompression dive information for the next dive. The asymmetrical design laid out the LCD display on the left side and the sensors on the right side. The case was horizontal, which was unusual for a watch. To prevent accidental operation, the buttons were half buried in the case.
