A design that combines the feel of a solid piece of metal
with a beautiful mirror-finish surface.Asterisk

From the case molding to the crown and dial, the design has a three-dimensional feel. You can feel the metal's massive weight.

The unique crown was designed to resemble the barrel of a revolver.

The dial design is composed of one-tone silver, giving a sense of three-dimensionality and transparency.

Asterisk, launched in 1988, was developed by a conceptual artist from outside the company. The case is solid stainless steel, and the design emphasized the sense of chunkiness and weight. The final polishing was done by hand so as not to spoil the beauty of the solid form. It was characterized by the combination of a thick, solid body with a beautiful mirror-finish surface. The strap was wrapped with leather over urethane and screwed into the case, creating a bangle-like design. The crown and dial were inspired by the look of a revolver. The circle on the dial was actually a very shallow concave surface, but it was processed to appear deeply gouged.
