A one-piece construction with no case back. The case design with a wide reverse bevel is very smooth against the skin.

This revolutionary watch, introduced in 1968, was equipped with the world's most advanced 10-beat movement of the time, in a one-piece, 300-meter water-resistant case without a detachable case back. The case was designed with a wide reverse bevel to take advantage of its one-piece construction, improving the lightness and wearability of the watch. A click-ball rotating bezel was developed for this model, allowing rotation in one-minute increments. The watch also utilized durable Hardlex glass, demonstrating the evolution in both the movement and exterior of this model.
