A series that became a hit both in Japan and abroad,
for its impressionable “white” designSeiko White Series

Designed with a unified white silver color for the case, dial, and bracelet, this watch became a hit product.

Almond-shaped case models from the series were popular. The design of the lugs and the dimensional cut of the glass create an extremely delicate impression.

The shiny bracelet, cut with a diamond-coated cutter, is also a distinctive feature.

The Seiko White Series was introduced in 1964. At the time, most watches in the market had leather straps, but this series was a big hit because the bracelet was also made of metal, unifying the watch with an overall impression of white and silver tone. Among these watches, models decorated with zirconia stones affixed at the point between the case and bracelet and acrylic glass finely cut around the periphery in a gem-like pattern were popular through the 1970s. They became a hit not only in Japan but also overseas. In Japan and the U.K. especially, the almond-shaped case type was very popular.
