A base for the group’s designers to gather
and collaborate is established in Ginza.Ginza Design Office

In 1967, the Design Conference (DC), a design consultative organization linking the three group companies K. Hattori & Co., Daini Seikosha, and Suwa Seikosha, was established. Later, a design team was established at K. Hattori & Co., but it was disbanded after about three years. In 1974, in order to strengthen cooperation among the three companies, the Ginza Design Office was established in Ginza, where K. Hattori & Co. was located, by designers from Daini Seikosha and Suwa Seikosha, thus laying the foundation for promoting design activities.
