Two years after the launch of the world's first 6-digit LCD digital watch, the Chronograph 0634 was introduced as the world's first multifunctional digital watch. Equipped with a stopwatch function, it was a pioneer in the multifunctionalization of digital watches. In terms of design, the goal was to express functions clearly and make the watch easy to use. The numerals are italicized and presented in a linear, easy-to-read design. The hexagonal frame printed on the surface of the panel made the panel appear larger, while clearly separating each function, and the method of printing the button operation indications on the dial cover became the basis for later digital watch designs.
