Designs born from the pursuit of an ideal form and universality.Spirit by the Power Design Project

One of the models released in 2008. The rounded design based on the theme of "spherical surface" is simple yet unique.

This series of watches released in 2008 emerged from the 2006 and 2007 themes of “Standard” and “Standard 2” from the Seiko Power Design Project, a project for thinking about and putting out new designs that are not bound by conventional frameworks. The natural shape, which was arrived at through the pursuit of manufacturing rationality, legibility, wearability, and convenience, results in a powerful and beautiful design. This watch, with its value of being an ideal form for a watch, as well as its universality, can be said to be a design that only Seiko, with its vast archive of past achievements, could have created.

This photo shows the models released in 2009 based on the “Standard 2” project. Numerous models were introduced to the world in just two years.
