The arrival of a dressy ladies’ watch
that pairs with the King Seiko.Queen Seiko

The Queen Seiko is designed to have an elegant feel through the use of delicately beveled glass. The photo shows the second model.

The Queen Seiko was created in 1962 as “a ladies’ watch to be paired with the King Seiko.” The first model was small in size, but had an elegant style and high legibility. The long, trapezoidal indexes give it a dressy look. The glass is made of acrylic material in a box shape, and its texture and rounded luster give it a unique glamour and charm. The crown is slightly larger than usual for a hand-wound movement, making it easy to turn. The second model features a cut-glass style, which was a trend at that time, and has a delicate shine and gentle atmosphere of curved glass. The indexes are also long and slender, creating a delicate and feminine impression.
