Developed for women overseas.Seiko VIVACE

The photo shows the first model released in 1996. The taut, rounded case and bracelet were in keeping with the trend of the time. The design matched the diversifying lifestyles of women.

Launched in 1996, Seiko VIVACE, meaning “lively” in Italian, was a women's brand developed mainly for the international market, targeting active women in their 20s and 30s, and was developed as an all-occasion watch that could be used both on and off the job. The first model was made of stainless steel and was water-resistant to 5 bar to accommodate active lifestyles. While functional, the overall impression is rounded and soft. With a stone-fitted crown and metallic Roman numerals, it is a moderately dressy watch. The bracelet with rounded pieces is also designed for comfort. Various designs were subsequently introduced to suit women's lifestyles.
