Hardships follow after the completion of the factory.
A new company with an independent watch division.Establishment of Daini Seikosha (Kameido)

In 1937, in order to increase production, the watch division of Seikosha was separated to form a new company, Daini Seikosha, and in 1939, the main factory was completed in Kameido. However, because of the Pacific War, the production of wristwatches declined year by year, and by 1945, the year the war ended, production had almost ceased. Immediately after the end of the war, as the Kameido factory had been destroyed in the war, production was restarted at the factories in the evacuation areas of Kiryu, Toyama, Sendai, and Suwa. At the end of 1949, all factories except Suwa were withdrawn, and production was once again centered on the Kameido factory.
