The “power design project” began in 2001 for Seiko Watch Corporation’s designers to explore the essence of watches and pursue design possibilities in a style different from their regular work.
As part of this initiative, the “Incredibly Specialized Watches Exhibition” was held at Seiko Seed in Harajuku, Tokyo, from January to March 2024, attracting significant media coverage and numerous visitors.
Now, nearly a year later, the second installment of this exhibition is set to take place! On this website, we delve into the concepts and inspirations behind the six incredibly specialized watches crafted by six designers, complemented by expert insights on display at the exhibition.
